Before the Day of your Procedure
- Check time, date and place of procedure
- Arrange transport home. Do not drive
- Ensure that you have read and followed the instructions relevant to your procedure
Day of Procedure
- Bring medications that would normally be due to take
- Wear comfortable, loose clothing
- Leave jewellery and valuables at home
- Do not wear contact lenses (if they are the type that requires removal at night time)
- Bring your health insurance details and payment to finalise your account
After procedure
- Do not drive for the time specified un your procedure leaflet
- Read discharge instructions given to you at the time of discharge
