Dr Richard Cheng is an Australian trained gastroenterologist and the Director of Gastroenterology at Redcliffe Hospital in Brisbane. Dr Cheng graduated from the University of Melbourne and was awarded the Fellowship of the FRACP in 2014. His further studies included a Bachelor of Medical Science through the Austin Hospital Liver Transplant Unit, where he trained in management of chronic liver disease and its complications.
Dr Cheng’s Special interests include:
- Endoscopy (Gastroscopy) / Colonoscopy +/- polyp removal
- Colorectal cancer screening (National Bowel Cancer Screening Program)
- Inflammatory bowel disease: Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis
- Functional bowel disease – reflux, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), change in bowel habit
- Gastrointestinal bleeding and Iron deficiency Anaemia
- Liver Disease

Dr Kendall Williams completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2007 and a Masters of Public Health at the University of Sydney in 2015. Kendall has worked in Wollongong, Sydney and at the Gold Coast and joined the team at Rosemont Endoscopy Centre in 2017.
Kendall has a special interest in Hepatology, General Gastroenterology and Bowel Cancer Screening and offers both consulting and procedural services in Wollongong.
