A general adult and subspecialist paediatric ophthalmologist who provides caring comprehensive eye care for the whole family. She enjoys treating a wide range of general ophthalmic conditions in patients from birth to over 90 years old.
Dr Sharwood undertook her general ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital before completing additional subspecialty fellowships in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the Cambridge University Hospitals and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London.
Dr Sharwood has special interests in:
- Cataract surgery in adults and children
- Strabismus surgery in adults and children
- Genetic eye disease
